All our Ostrich boots and shoes are handmade by John Allen Woodward here in his studio.John starts with the finest South African Ostrich money can buy.There are less expensive domestic and Mexican hides available and most big boot factories use them,however they don't have the beauty or durability of the South African hides.John still builds boots the old fashioned way ,by hand,over 350 steps in each pair, and that makes all the difference.We have Ostrich hides in a variety of colors , so if you don't see a color you're lookin for please contact us.A variety of toe and heel styles are available .All boot styles can be changed to to suit your personal ,unique taste. All our Ostrich boots are available in standard boot sizes or custom made to measure.As far as exotic hides go ,Ostrich is probably the best choice all things considered.It is very soft and comfortable ,but very durable and long wearing.
